10 Years Later: Silence Speaks Louder Than Words
Every event we create reflects our philosophy that health is not just a physical state but a dynamic, creative journey that shapes both our lives and work. That’s why we’re excited to present In Pursuit of Silence—a film that explores the power of silence and the impact of noise on our well-being. Even 10 years after its release, In Pursuit of Silence feels more relevant today than ever. Its deliberate pacing and meditative rhythm make it the perfect centerpiece for a TKP event, mirroring the principles that guide The Kilos Project: finding balance between action and stillness, creation and recovery.

“Half visual essay, half verbal investigation, “Silence” is thoughtful and informative as well as contemplative and restorative. It both tells you why you perhaps yearn for silence and shows you what it would look like if you could find it.“
–Kenneth Turan | Los Angeles Times
From the moment ticket holders walk into the Texas Theatre, they will experience a shift in atmosphere—a departure from the usual hustle of everyday life. Soft lighting and ambient music create a sense of calm, welcoming guests into a space filled with local vendors and sensory experiences that set the tone for the evening.
Before the film, we hosted a Pre-Event Mixer where guests could explore local vendors and engage in mindful activities. Luna Metaphysical, a local crystal shop, offered a beautifully curated selection of crystals and stones, while Kosmic Tea guided participants through a tea ceremony featuring their crystal-inspired blends. Kenz Love Jewelry showcased their handcrafted creations in a display that celebrated craftsmanship and artistry.
Leading up to the screening, local artist McKenna Kline invited guests to tap into their inner child by crafting poetry cards, while Daniela from danielas. yoga led a transformative sound bath to help focus the evening’s intention.
Following the film, we hosted a Post-Screening Q&A with director Patrick Shen, diving deeper into the film’s themes of silence, creativity, and personal reflection—10 years after its theatrical release.
These exclusive elements were designed to enhance the film experience, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the evening’s themes and create a meaningful connection with the art and each other.
