CREATE.
Create: the power to exist from imagination.
As it is in the beginning, we create to find meaning in a world we often fail to see at face value. Whether shallow or deep, our constant existential wonder leads us to the raw material we borrow to shape our immediate environment. Here, our brain mixes electrical impulses with our senses, memories, thoughts, emotions, and experiences—both old and new—to give life to the narrative we constantly seek to understand.
Thus, creativity is born… and it is good.
Creativity gives distinctive ideas equal ranks to endure the abyss of our subconscious.
It is desperation turned into action; inputs for outputs, causes for effects.
It is the first relationship we unknowingly build and carry throughout our lives.
It is a labor of both love and pain.
Our ability to create takes many forms, both tangible and abstract.
Math, science, technology; family, strangers, friends; music, film, literature.
In fact, the beauty of creating lies in the fact that no detail goes unnoticed, no thought is undervalued, and no action goes to waste. Every creation follows a process uniquely expressed, making it a masterful art of endurance.
Creativity is intentional in practice and humble in soul.
It is the heart of everything, an extension of why we are.
The Kilos Project builds upon the process at hand to help us create. Therefore, it’s only fitting to ask ourselves: Why am I doing this?
In this space, our ability to create infuses purpose into thought. Our deepest desires come to light, our inner dialogue becomes clear, our perceptions are given life, and we uncover why we ultimately choose to take on the day. But before we reach any conclusions, creating provides the mindset we need to accomplish our goals.
In this space, we practice, refine, and adapt our efforts. We make to exist, build to live, and create to discover. Our methods may be unconventional, but our results are clear.
To create is our modern romance.
This is ‘create’. ///
